The Curriculum Library uses Library of Congress call numbers for all methods books. These numbers are preceded by an “area code,” indicating subject:

Age-appropriate books are arranged alphabetically by author’s last name and the first word of the title. Stickers on the spine indicate broad subjects:

Books with the prefix “RCB” support the St. Ambrose Reading Clinic classes and curriculum. They are arranged by title.

Textbooks in all subjects begin with the subject area codes listed above, then the subject or year in school, the publisher name and the date of publication.
